As a result of the municipality's failure to maintain stop signs, the motorcyclist/client struck and catapulted over a taxi. The client sustained not only a closed head injury, but also fracture of the arm, ribs, pelvis and lower leg. Both sides rejected mediation and the firm was able to persuade the jury to return a verdict more than three times that amount. The total amount recovered by the client was just under one million dollars.
